The tech landscape in Mysuru is taking a significant leap forward with the launch of Mysore Quantum AI (MQA). This not-for-profit foundation and think tank is dedicated to advancing Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the local ecosystem, marking a crucial step in transforming the region into a hotbed for future technologies.
Collaborative Foundation
Pioneered by Excelsoft Technologies, MQA has garnered strong backing from key industry players, including the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), TiE Mysuru, SJCE-STEP, and Young Indians. The foundation's primary objective is to cultivate a robust local environment where practical experimentation, secure and responsible adoption, and collaborative learning of AI and Quantum Computing can thrive.
Aligning with Karnataka's Tech Vision
This initiative is perfectly timed with Karnataka's broader ambitions. The state is rapidly positioning itself as India's quantum hub, driven by the ₹1,000 crore Karnataka Quantum Mission. By aiming for a $20 billion quantum economy by 2035, the government is laying down substantial investments in research, infrastructure, and talent. MQA is set to play a pivotal role in this mission by nurturing quantum capabilities and awareness right at the grassroots level in Mysuru.

The vision of MQA is to transition these emerging technologies from niche academic circles out to a broader audience.
